T-Mobile has made available the Samsung SGH-t239, a compact prepaid slider phone with instant messaging, picture messaging, and Bluetooth compatibility. This sleekly designed new phone is affordable and includes the standard array of features one would hope to find on an affordable handset.
Users can connect to AOL Instant Messenger to send messages to friends and they are also able to send text and picture messages. The phone has a camera so users can snap photos when something interesting catches their eye, but since it offers only VGA resolution, it won't be possible to make prints from the photos.
Built-in Bluetooth allows users to connect hands-free headsets to the T239 and send images to computers that are compatible with the wireless technology. The SGH-t239 includes picture caller ID and standard organization tools like a calendar, to-do list, clock, and an alarm.
The Samsung SGH-t239 slider phone is available now from T-Mobile on prepaid plans for $59.99 after an instant discount.
