Cricket Communications has unveiled the TXTM8, an affordable QWERTY slider with an emphasis on text and picture messaging from manufacturer Personal Communications Devices.
A vertical slide reveals a QWERTY keyboard to compose quick messages and send off notes on users' favorite social networks. Users can snap photos with the phone's 1.3 megapixel camera and store them on microSD(INFO) memory cards. Cricket's customized homescreen provides instant access to sports scores, news, entertainment, gossip, and weather that displays on the TXTM8's 2.2-inch TFT display.
The TXTM8 is available now for $159.99 at Cricket stores and dealers.
