Sprint has announced the LG LX290, an affordable slider phone that gives users the ability to send messages, take calls, and keep track of appointments. The LX290 features a 1.3 megapixel camera, GPS navigation capability, and access to standard Sprint applications.
Users can snap pictures with a 1.3 megapixel camera and send them instantly with MMS picture messaging. The LX290 features a 2.5mm audio jack so users can tune into their favorite music. Users can also keep in touch with friends and family instantly with email support for AIM, Yahoo!, Windows Live, Hotmail and more. The phone includes support for standard Sprint applications, like Sprint Navigation for voice-guided turn-by-turn directions and NFL Mobile Live for fans who want to watch the game on-the-go.
Pricing and availability for the LG LX290 have not yet been announced.
